Everything your users need to know about depositing, withdrawing, and earning yield through Blend.
Everything your users need to know about depositing, withdrawing, and earning yield through Blend. This page is written at a Grade 8 reading level so you can adapt it for your own user-facing content.
Getting money into Blend is simple. Your users pick a token, enter an amount, and confirm. Blend handles the rest.
Think of it like dropping money into a personal safe deposit box at the bank. The money goes straight into a box that only you can open. Nobody else’s money goes in there.
1
Pick the token and chain
Your user chooses which token to deposit and which chain it is on. Blend shows their available balance. Most major tokens work. Blend swaps and bridges automatically.
2
Enter the amount
They type how much to deposit or tap MAX to deposit everything. Blend shows a quote with the exact amount that will land in their Safe.
3
Confirm and earn
They approve the transaction in their wallet. Money arrives in their Safe and starts earning right away. No extra steps.
Your users do not need to hold ETH or any gas token. Blend sponsors all gas fees. Cross-chain deposits are handled automatically. If the user’s token is on a different chain, Blend finds the best route and moves it in one step.
Blend is the system behind the account in your app. Each user’s money sits in a personal Safe that belongs to them alone. It is never mixed with anyone else’s money. Blend puts it to work across trusted DeFi protocols and keeps a record of everything it does.
Who controls the money?
The user does. Their money sits in a personal Safe that only they can sign for. Blend’s automation can only do things the strategy allows. It cannot move money to anyone else.
What is a Separately Managed Account?
Most apps pool everyone’s money into one big pot. Blend is different. Every user gets their own separate Safe. Their money, their risk, and their earnings are theirs alone. Nobody else’s problem can affect them.
What if markets get volatile?
The system monitors markets around the clock. If things start looking risky, it automatically moves money back to safety before a real problem develops.
What if Blend or the app goes offline?
The user’s money stays in their Safe. They can access it directly at safe.global or through any block explorer. No one can block their exit.
How safe is my money?
Each user’s Safe is a real Gnosis Safe, the same technology that secures billions in DeFi. They are the only signer. Since every user has their own Safe, there is no big shared pool to drain. See Security for the full picture.
Does anyone have a master key?
No. There are no admin keys that can move user funds. Blend uses a permission system that can only do the specific actions the strategy requires.
Why would a deposit be paused?
The law requires Blend to check every account against government sanctions lists. If a check flags an account, deposits pause until a person reviews it. Nobody takes the money. It stays in the user’s Safe the whole time.
What does it cost?
Gas fees are free. Blend takes a performance fee from yield, but the APY shown already has it taken out. The number shown is what users earn. There is a 0.05% fee on currency swaps. Cross-chain transfers have a small bridge fee.
Do users need ETH or gas tokens?
No. Blend pays all gas costs. Users only need the token they want to deposit.
What are Blend Points?
Blend Points reward users for holding a balance. The longer they stay and the more they hold, the more they earn. A streak bonus of up to 100x kicks in after 30 days of holding at least $100. Users can also earn referral points by inviting friends.
How does currency swap work?
Users can swap between USD (USDC), EUR (EURC), SGD (XSGD), and BRL (BRZ) stablecoins. The swap happens at real-time rates with a 0.05% fee. Gas is free. Most swaps finish in seconds.
Where can I track performance?
The dashboard in your app shows balances, earnings, points, and transaction history. All data comes from on-chain records, so it is always accurate and verifiable.
What chains does Blend support?
Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Scroll, HyperEVM, Botanix, and Monad. See Chains & Tokens for the full list.
What tokens can users deposit?
Most major tokens work. Blend automatically swaps and bridges them into the asset the account type needs. Primary supported tokens are USDC, USDT, and USDe.
