What Risk Architects do
As a Risk Architect, your scope is limited to strategy:- Create Baskets: Define asset allocations and target percentages
- Submit assets: Add new DeFi assets to the registry through the portal
- Publish strategies: Make your Baskets available for neobanks to discover
- Monitor performance: Track TVL and how your Baskets are being used
What Risk Architects don’t do
- Approve flow plans: Neobanks manage their own flow plans when positions drift
- Deploy user accounts: Neobanks handle account creation and Safe deployment
- Access user funds: Each user’s Safe is non-custodial. You define the template. Blend executes it.
- Manage vault infrastructure: Blend deploys and manages all on-chain contracts
How it works
- You create and publish a Basket with your strategy
- Neobanks browse the catalog and link their Account Types to your Basket
- Users open accounts through the neobank’s app
- Blend deploys Safes and executes your strategy for each user
- When positions drift, the neobank approves flow plans to rebalance
Becoming a Risk Architect
Risk Architect onboarding is managed by the Blend team.Submit an application
Contact the Blend team with details about your organization, investment track record, and strategy approach.
Review and approval
The Blend team evaluates your application based on investment expertise and alignment with Blend’s security standards.
Organization setup
Once approved, Blend creates your organization with Owner access to the admin portal.Your organization is set up as a “curator” type, giving you access to Basket and asset management features.
